How God works in our life

What is grace? Is grace when your teacher lets you get away without doing your homework? No, grace is
God's riches at Christ's expense. This means that we get God's riches at the expense of Christ. Grace is kindness given from God that we don't deserve.

To give a pardon for a debt and no longer feel resentment, this is forgiveness. 'In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgivness of sins in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding' Ephesians 1:7-8. This means that God has forgiven our sins with the shedding of his blood. We do not deserve to be forgiven but through God's grace we were saved.

'When Jesus spoke to the people, He said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12. This tells us that God is light and without him we are in darkness. Therefore darkness can be contrasted to everything that is bad and light can be contrasted to everything that is good. If we are stuck in the darkness we may be sad, scared and alone but with God we are in the light and can feel happiness, kindness and joy.

We all have a place that we belong. It may be at home, at school or with your friends. You most feel like you belong when you are loved and feel comfortable. Jesus tells us that he has prepared a room in his fathers house for each and every one of us. God created the earth so that we could care for it and live on it. Therefore God had made a place for us to belong even before we were born and before we enter the kingdom of heaven.

'He died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep [dead or alive], we may live together with him 1 Thessalonians 5:10. Inheritance means to receive by lot. One thing that we inherit from God is eternal life. In 1 John 5:13 we are reminded that whoever believes in the Son of God shall have eternal life. Jesus the son of God died for us so that we may not die but have eternal life in heaven with Christ Jesus our Lord.

'Jesus replied, "very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again" John 3:3. This means that nobody can get into the kingdom of heaven without being born again through Christ. When we are born again we have a change of heart, instead of only caring for earthly possessions we put God first. Once we have accepted God into our life we have been born again.
